MARK AMOS
CONTEMPORARY WILDLIFE ARTIST
MADBOXES PICTURE FRAMING
I have worked as an artist (check out my work here) and a framer in the picture framing industry for around thirty years but opened my own business, Madboxes Picture Framing in September 2013. Based in a small workshop in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, I have built a loyal customer base of both professional and amateur artists, helping them to showcase their work in exhibitions both here in the UK and internationally. Here are a few examples of these collaborations.

Karen Laurence-Rowe
Having worked with Karen for a number of years, framing her beautiful oil and watercolour paintings, I was particularly proud to be involved with this piece that was auctioned and raised an enormous amount of money for Helping Rhinos, a charity that's very close to Karen's heart.

Tony Karpinski
As probably one of the most admired wildlife artists in the world, Tony also has a huge following for his amazing London street scenes. These are painted in a much looser style than his highly photorealistic animal paintings

Trudy Good
I first met Trudy around twenty years ago and have been framing for her ever since. She is a truly versatile artist producing breath taking figurative work both in oils and pastels and more recently, atmospheric landscapes in oils

As I have worked as a professional artist and needed to find a framer I could trust to complete my projects, sometimes with short deadlines, I think I'm perfectly placed to understand what an artist needs from their picture framer.
If you are an artist and are interested in working with Madboxes on your future projects, here is the commitment I would like to make to you.
-
After an initial consultation at the workshop to establish the style of framing you would like for your work, I will keep those mouldings in stock wherever possible, so that I am able to offer you a quick turnaround to meet your deadlines.
-
As I work from a small workshop, I don't have the overheads that high street businesses have, so I'm confident that my prices are extremely competitive with no need to compromise on quality.
-
Once we have agreed your framing style, I'm happy to offer a local collection and delivery service where required.
-
Payment will only be required when the framing has been completed and you are completely happy with my work.
If you would like to make an appointment to visit the workshop to discuss your framing needs, you can contact me here
